With the task to create a chair based on a personal story I explored form and function. Inspired by the curves and smooth surfaces of Streamline,  the chair serves as a simple reminder: I put a ton of pressure on myself, but Jesus takes it off. As the user sits in a relaxed, yet vulnerable position they must rely only on the strength of the base. The base represents Jesus.
