The challenge for this project was to create a poster using two randomly assigned hate words and an execution. My words were "Homo," "Spic" and "icon." After conducting research and interviews, I concluded both groups faced isolation. People separate themselves from these groups fearing they'll somehow stain them. This poster is meant to be an unsettling realization to those who treat gays and people of color the same way they treat their laundry. The copy "Don't treat lives like laundry" prompts readers to ultimately change their thinking.
